1. Who are you and what are you all about?
My name is Danny, and I care deeply about creating experiences that bring mindfulness to the masses and help people access their fullest potential.
2. Do you have a practice/business/service? If so, what is it?
Yes, I’m a mindful high performance coach, meditation teacher, retreat leader and I create mind expanding DJ meditation mixes under the name “Latebloomer” that I perform in Austin.
3. Why did you start your practice/business/service?
I started coaching men specifically based off my own life experience. For years I was strictly living in my head without any access to my emotions, I was working a job that felt empty, and no matter how much I meditated I couldn’t escape that emptiness feeling. Saying “yes” to my first men’s retreat was the experience that blew the doors wide open for me to better understand myself and my values, to get clarity on what it meant for me to be a man, and how I wanted to be of service. From that point I was hooked. I’ve felt a deep calling to share this work with other men so they can live more aligned with their unique purpose and create brotherhood.
4. How do you incorporate KA! into your life? What kind of impact has it had?
KA! has been absolutely transformational in my life. It’s been an ally that’s helped me more easily access my heart space, feel what needs to be felt, and access the strength to show up more in my power.
5. What's your favorite thing about KA! and how you share it with your community?
There’s so many things I love about KA! but if I had to choose one, I love how it makes me feel. I notice a distinct, and yet natural shift when I take it and suddenly I feel more at ease with the present moment and genuinely more happy.
6. Has anything special or unexpected occurred because of our collaboration?
One of the things I love about being an ambassador for KA! Is that I get to share it with others. In particular I’ve introduced the men in my weekly men’s circle. I notice more men are inclided to share from their heart without holding back their truth, there’s an energy in the room that feels more dialed in, and when we break out into dyads, men are deeply listening to one another. I love that it drops the walls and helps them be more real. Men even come up to me afterwards saying how much they love it!
7. What would you say to folks considering becoming KAmbassadors?
For anyone considering becoming an ambassador, know that you will be joining an incredible team and helping steward a mission that is shifting our society :)
