FAQ

Can I still engage in daily activities like work, travel and childcare?

Yes. The effect is subtle yet felt, and does not impact sobriety. Taking KA! may help you be more focused and productive at work, less stressed during travel, more present and connected with your child, and improve endurance while exercising.

Once I have signed up for auto-delivery, how do I access the 30-Day Journey?

You’ll receive an email with (easy!) instructions to access the journey, and your package will include printed material with a QR code you can scan.

How much time will I need to allocate to the journey each day?

Just a few minutes! But you can certainly choose to spend more time each day as feels appropriate for you. You can also adjust the amount of time you allocate to the journey on a day-by-day basis; it’s intentionally designed to be accessible, non-intrusive, additive, and flexible. 

Can I pause my journey during the 30 days?

Once you start your journey, the email / SMS prompts will continue and cannot (technically!) be paused. However, you can always choose to pause your journey and archive the email / SMS prompts and journey content, and then revisit it when you’re ready - it’ll be right where you left it!

Can I take the journey more than once?

Yes! You’ll have access to the journey content forever, so you can choose to start from the top, or revisit specific content that was especially resonant. And since you’ve subscribed to auto-deliveries of KA!, you’ll always have “inventory” at home :)

What is Kanna?

Chews vs. Tincture?

You are welcome to work with either or both of them at the same time. It is really a personal preference, so experiment and take KA! at different times of day to see what works best for you. That being said, this is what we recommend if you’d like to work with both the Chews and the Tincture.

Dosage?

For the KA! Kanna Chews: we recommend starting with 1 Chew.  If you are sensitive and want to go slow, start with half a Chew. Do not take more than 3 Chews per 24 hour period. Most people feel great with 1 and experience the effects for hours.

For the KA! Kanna Tincture: the recommended dose is 20 drops (1 full dropperful or 2 half dropperfuls) under your tongue for 30 seconds before swallowing. If you are particularly sensitive or just want to take it slow, start by microdosing with 5 drops. You can always take more. Experiment with how many drops your mind, body and spirit call for in different moments. Dose and listen to your body.

Contraindications?

Do not use any KA! products in conjunction with Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs), Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs), Serotonin-Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitors (SNRIs), Norepinephrine and Dopamine Reuptake Inhibitors (NDRIs), Benzodiazepines or Central Nervous System (CNS) depressants without medical supervision by a qualified healthcare professional. Avoid KA! products while pregnant or nursing. Consult your healthcare provider before use or buy kanna if you have a medical condition or if you are taking any prescription medications.
